Abstract

We define the properties of fair exchange protocols and present a survey of six published fair exchange protocols from different areas of applicability. The survey is in particular rabout some properties of these protocols, viz., fairness, correctness of product, customer’s anonymity, TTP’s involvement, timeliness and also about channel requirement.  We also present a comparative analysis of these protocols and conclude by indicating some open problems.
