Aim

 

This special issue provides a specialized forum for the publication of recent advances on optimization and to promote the application of optimization methods in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Optimization approaches are the most hopeful techniques for engineering applications. Many methods have been extensively studied and considerable advances have been made in the last years in the area of the optimization theory. This special issue also provides an opportunity for researchers and practitioners to identify critical issues for further developments, to review and disseminate quality research works on optimization approaches and their applications in the context of engineering.
