This paper presents the proposed system of Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR) for Harmonic compensation. The proposed system is developed by implementing DVR with energy storage and supply side shunt converter topology along with Z source inverter. Hysteresis band voltage control is used in which modulation frequency is made constant by modulating the band with the system parameter. The hysteresis control technique is analyzed, where the accuracy of compensation for voltage harmonics found at the input source. The proposed topology is simulated using matlab-simulink and its performance is evaluated in comparison with a conventional controller. In each scenario, total harmonic distortions (THDs) are measured along with corresponding waveforms and the results are justified accordingly.
