Abstract

A Bidirectional Non Isolated Soft Switching dc- dc converter fed dc drive will be proposed in this project. The converter can operate with soft switching, a continuous inductor current, fixed switching frequency and less voltage switching stress. Thus the conventional circuit having more voltage stress and losses. Active clamp circuit is used to reduce the voltage stress. This circuit has less switching loses due to soft switching. The bi-directional dc -dc converter modes of operation are explained .The circuit is simulated using MAT LAB.
