Abstract
To better understand some physical aspects of nonlinear behaviour reduced to a linear elastic equivalent system an assumed bi-linear or (and) elasto-plastic model is proposed. Thus, this manuscript aims to exploit these approximate methods for analysing nonlinear systems reduced to linearly equivalent system that can be used as design or verification tool and rapid appreciation of the quality of non-linear responses to assess the degree of damage caused by accidental actions such as the dynamic or seismic shock pulses etc. The objective consists in derivation of analytical expressions of elastically equivalent model for a nonlinear system, which will be applied to multi-layer plates.
