Abstract

The purpose of the work is the theoretical and experimental substantiation of rational parameters, expanding the scope of rational application and increasing the efficiency of bulldozers-terracers by installing a universal blade with variable geometry, adaptable to working conditions. The efficiency of using an adaptable blade with variable geometry depends on the efficiency and accuracy of the choice, in accordance with the operating conditions, the number parameter values - the blade inclination angle (its middle section), the rotation angle of the side sections, the depth of cut and the working speed of the bulldozer. A significant number of controlled parameters and differences in the nature of their influence on the efficiency of various operations and in different soil conditions (if operational control is necessary) create a large load on the driver. At the same time, it is necessary to realize the potential of the design. An urgent research problem is the prompt and reasonable choice of the optimal values of the relevant parameters depending on the operating conditions and the possibility of automating this process. Theoretical and experimental studies of the main parameters influence of a blade with variable geometry (grab, tilt and cut angles, blade width, etc.) on the resistance (horizontal and vertical components) to digging and the formation of a soil drag prism are carried out.
