Dynamics of Working Processes in Automatic Transmission of Tractors

Abstract


This paper presents the results of theoretical and experimental studies of dynamic characteristics of automatic transmission with frictional gearshifts under load with uninterrupted power supply, with a 4-ton class wheeled tractor as an example. A method for calculating the dynamic characteristics of automatic transmissions simultaneously using 2 and 4 friction clutches for shifting gears under load is proposed. A detailed mathematical model of the given transmission is presented. MATLab package is used for the theoretical aspects of the study. The fundamental blocks of the package serve to model the physical components of the transmission: friction clutches, gears, shafts with the required properties, as well as the system for controlling the automatic transmission with the necessary characteristics.
