Thermal Performance Study of the Fluid of a Collector Using Finite Elements with Computational Tools (CFD)

Abstract


The energy industry together with the solar energy market have exponentially grown worldwide, due to research efforts to develop techniques and tools, as well as new materials that improve costs and convert solar energy into viable and sustainable energy. This is why the analysis and study of the behavior of solar radiation capture systems is the main topic in different works and academic research, aiming at optimizing the efficiency of these systems for industrial applications. The objective of this work is to evaluate the thermal performance of the fluid of a flat solar collector through CFD computational tools.
