Test Methods of Increasing Precision Verification of Continuous Conveyor-Type Weighers

Abstract


This paper presents a classification of belt weighers verification methods and their comparative analysis. It is justified the use of test methods with reference weight to increase the precision of belt weigher verification without stopping of the continuous production process. Some algorithms of the indirect test verification method and the results of the theoretical and experimental study of this method are presented, together with the analysis of the errors of the indirect test verification method. Some recommendations for minimizing the verification errors for dual-channel and multi-channel belt weighers are given.
