Abstract


The aim of this paper is to shows how the integration of Lean Manufacturing System (LMS) with the Quality Management System (QMS) can assist a manufacturing organization to be more competitive to its market. To achieve this goal, it was proposed a method of integrating the two systems with application in a small sized organization belonging to the Brazilian aeronautical industry. Based on the partial results, it was concluded that the applied method in this organization can improve its manufacturing process leading to the reduction of both the Percentage of Nonconformity and Lead Time with the resources optimization.
