Abstract


In this work, a numerical simulation for free convection flow of incompressible fluid over a heated vertical flat plate embedded in saturated porous medium, is presented. A computer program, based on finite differences method, is developed to obtain numerical solutions for the resulting governing equations of mass, Darcy, and energy. A parametric study of all involved parameters is conducted and a representative set of numerical results for the velocity, temperature and Nusselt number are illustrated graphically. So, physical aspects of the problem are discussed
