Abstract

A model-based approach for investigation of ladle lining damages on the basis of the technological characteristics and thermovision images is proposed. A mathematical model of the ladle lining heat transfer is solved for a number of different cases. The approximation of these results is presented as regression equations. These equations can be used for diagnosis of the insulation thickness in the field of anomaly.
