Abstract


A numerical study has been carried out for the conjugate heat transfer on unsteady natural convection boundary layer flow of a viscous incompressible fluid over a vertical slender hollow cylinder. A Crank-Nicolson type of implicit method is used to solve the governing unsteady, non-linear and coupled equations. The resulting system of equations are solved by using the Thomas algorithm. The computations are carried out for different values of Prandtl number Pr and conjugate-conduction parameter P.
