Abstract

Currently, HassanI Moroccan University in Settat is interested in the evaluation of research quality by setting up a computer system allowing this evaluation in real time. This article, first discusses the practices of research evaluation in universities, then some scomputer systems currently used internationally for the monitoring and evaluation of university research, as well as certain difficulties and constraints  to have said systems. Finally, this article proposes a solution to have a computer platform adapted to the functional and technical specifications of Hassan I University, allowing the realization of a research dashboard system integrating bibliometric indicators of research performance measurement. This dashboard system, enabling evaluation and monitoring of university research, is developed on a BI (Business Intelligence) platform allowing the exploitation of several heterogeneous databases with different natures to have data values  giving a correct meaning to the calculated search  indicators for objective evaluation.
