Abstract
In industries the reliability engineering place a major role in process availability, safety, probability of failure component etc. Here the plant at Indian Rare Earth Limited is chosen for reliability evaluation. The technique used for the reliability evaluation is fault tree analysis. Open FTA software is used for fault tree analysis. In this paper reliability and failure rate predictions are also carried out using artificial neural network. Here working environment used for ANN is neural lab.
