Abstract

The aim of this research is to use crushed porcelain waste as a partial substitute for fine aggregates and cement to improve the properties of cement mortar. The substitution of natural fine aggregate and cement with porcelain produces a significant increase in compressive strength, which  makes it suitable for the manufacture of cement mortar with characteristic strength  up to 65 MPa, which can be used in concrete and mortar.
