Journal Aims

The Journal of Genitourinary Research and Practice is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original papers on all branches of the Genitourinary Research and Practice, including, but not limited to the detection, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of genitourinary cancers.

Thematic areas include also:

urological oncology, urological reconstructive surgery, urodynamics, female urology, pediatric urology, endo-urology, transplantation, erectile dysfunction, urinary infections and inflammations, adult urology, urogynecology, urologic problems of obstetrics, pelvic organ prolapse, low urinary tract disease, andrology, male infertility, prostatic diseases, incontinence, nocturnal enuresis, impotence, infertility, lithiasis, surgery, urology, nephrology, ambulatory, office-based, and geriatric urology, genomics in urologic health and disease, health services research, infectious diseases, laparoscopy and robotics, urologic congenitalism, bladder, prostate, prostate cancer, urinary, urethral, testicular, penile, renal transplantation, calculi (urinary tract stones), neuro-urology (voiding disorders, urodynamic evaluation of patients and erectile dysfunction or impotence), prevention: sexuality, alimentation and sports, neoadjuvant therapy for prostate cancer, signal transduction in hormone-responsive tumors, molecular medicine in the genitourinary system, nanotechnology in cancer treatment and diagnosis.

The Editorial policy is to maintain a reasonable balance between papers regarding different research areas so that the Journal will be useful to all interested scientific groups.

The Journal of Genitourinary Research and Practice also publishes letters to the Editor and research notes which discuss new research, or research in progress in any of the above thematic areas.

published four-monthly, appearing on the last day of April, August, December.
