Open Loop Control of Voltage Across a Three-Phase Resistive Load Fed by Two Level Inverters Controlled by DSP-TMS320F2812

Abstract


This article presents the design, simulation and implementation of a didactic inverter based on IGBT. The inverter, controlled with the digital pulse width modulation strategy 'DSPWM' by a DSP card from the eZdspTM F2812 platform, feeds a balanced three-phase resistive load. To prove the performance and efficiency of the didactic realized inverter, a fair comparison of its experimental results with those of a compact industrial module 7MBR15SA120 is also presented for different parameters of the control strategy.
