Abstract
We have investigated the ways of increasing energy efficiency of aviation starter-generators through the use of contactless bearing supports, a comparative analysis of the gas bearings and hybrid magnetic bearings (HMB) was made with the help of methods of mathematical modeling and computer simulation, we analyzed the problems of electric starting of gas turbine plants by starter-generators.
