Publication Charges: New Author Fees!

 

New Author fees will be effective on November 1, 2022!

New publication fees will be valid for articles accepted for publication on or after November 1, 2022, and they will apply to all types of article that will be accepted for publication in the International Review of Electrical Engineering (IREE).

Bereavements: Professor Michel Poloujadoff (1932-2021) passed away

 

Praise Worthy Prize deeply regrets to announce that on December 13, 2021, at the age of 89, Prof. Michel Poloujadoff died.

From 1961 to 1986, Prof. Michel Poloujadoff was Professor of Electrical Engineering at Grenoble University (now Grenoble Alpes University and Institut Polytechnique de Grenoble). In 1986, he moved to University Pierre et Marie Curie (now Sorbonne University) as Professor of Electrical Engineering. He remained in position up to his retirement in 2000.

He has been elevated IEEE Fellow and Life Fellow in 1998. He got the prestigious Nikola Tesla Award in 1991 and the Lamme Medal in 1994. He was also a Distinguished Lecturer for PES and for IAS. He has been one of 8 founders of the International Conference on Electrical Machines (ICEM) in 1974.

Prof. Poloujadoff has been member of the Editorial Board of the International Review of Electrical Engineering (IREE) since 2006.

Bereavements: Professor Vittorio Isastia (1941 - 2017) passed away

 

Praise Worthy Prize deeply regrets to announce that on 20 March 2017 Prof. Vittorio Isastia Cimino died.

Vittorio Isastia Cimino was full professor of Converters, Machines and Electric Drives at the University of Naples Federico II, where He teached Principles of Electrical Machines and Modelling of Electrical Machines.
During his long teaching career, He has been an awesome leader for many colleagues and an acute and eager researcher.
He will always be remembered for his contributions to the field of electrical machines as well as for his enormous helpfulness towards students and younger colleagues. Most of all, He will be remembered for his amiable and kind attitude, altruism, as well as for the empathy he instilled in all those who had the pleasure to know him.

Prof. Isastia has been member of the Editorial Board of the International Review of Electrical Engineering (IREE) since 2006.
