Abstract

A Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) is a collection of mobile nodes, which dynamically form a temporary network and Quality of Service (QoS) as a major research challenge. The complexities of MANETs are surveyed, but traditional routing protocols do not focus on the context aware nature of services, which is highly required for dynamic change in service requirements.
Context Aware Adaptive Fuzzy (COAAF) is a 'context aware’ protocol, which is adaptive for variable services and network traffic intensity. The behavior of streaming services is found to be highly variable; hence the fuzzy approach is adopted. The experimental results carried out using NS-2 shows that the proposed COAAF model supports route with longer lifetime than compared with the existing DYMO and AODV models.
