Abstract

In this paper, we suggest a tool dedicated to model systems that support the dynamic partial reconfiguration. The purpose of this tool is to provide an abstract view of the developed application. It facilitates the task of the designer by abstracting many low level details and design stages. The proposed tool enables the modeling of the application to be implemented by setting its different components and the constraints to be respected namely: reconfigurable modules, static modules, the link between the application modules, the constraints on the distribution of the area of Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) etc. The information entered through a graphical interface of the tool will be used to generate the necessary data for Xilinx tools to pursue the various implementation stages of the dynamic partial reconfiguration technique
