Abstract

In this paper we presented a new approach to Identify some top-l elements from the top-p percentile of the population in a large asynchronous distributed environment such as a peer-to-peer (P2P) network. In given proposed methodology, we extracted the knowledge from the P2P network. From that rules the top l elements are identified based on the Adaptive genetic algorithm. This algorithm provides various estimates for various statistics of data stored in network
