Abstract

An active recursive filter using HEMT technology is proposed in the following article. An ED02AH HEMT technology with advanced design system (ADS2010) was used to design a test circuit. This kind of filter appeared feasible in simulations, and reasonably practically good performance was achieved. Gain and Q-value were capable to be tuned within a wide range. A center frequency was 2.5GHz for which S21=14.227dB, S12=-58.865. Simulations demonstrates a center frequency tuning range of 1 to 4GHz.In this Two impedance matching were employed in the design, active and passive. Results indicate that the active impedance matching leads to a better result.
