Abstract

Peer-to-peer (p2p) systems usually used as a good alternative for server-client systems in the aspect of video streaming. One of the most important features of such systems is the topology. This paper discusses the concept of topology in p2p live video streaming. This paper discussed the three main types of topology that are commonly used in p2p live video streaming systems, including their strengths and weaknesses, are also discussed. The data delivery of these three types of topology is discussed in details with their data delivery mechanisms.
