Abstract

Data extraction is a process of retrieving useful data from a large database. Extracting information about a specific topic in sequence is an essential thing to get the entire idea about that topic. While we are searching about a topic in internet, we will not get the information about that topic in sequential order and we may get confusion that after which thing a particular matter happened. To avoid this confusion we propose a technique which uses two systems to extract data and an intelligent agent to transfer data from one system to another. The first system gathers the required data from the documents we obtained from the web search engine and the second system extracts and gives the information in sequential order. The intelligent agent is an independent entity that functions depends on the environment using agent and directs its activity to achieve the goal. In this paper, we use data transfer agent to transfer the data gathered by the first system to the second system. The data transfer agent transfers data without any loss and with high security. We extract the information in three different sequences and the performance is analyzed using different thresholds.
