A Conceptual Framework of Service Invocation in the Novel DSS: the Example in Situation Assessment

In general, DSS (Decision Support System) is constructed with Software Services, which can’t solve abstract or nonlinear problems perfectly. Based on this, Humanware Service blending into the traditional DSS provides a good path, upon that it forms of the novel DSS. In this paper, the focus is the conceptual service invocation framework in the novel DSS. Based on the service invocation architecture, the description method, comparison, and connection of Software Service and Humanware Service are included in the paper. The interface of the novel DSS with service is clarified, which contains the system message matching with variable services, and service returning the output message to the system. The framework provides guidance to the method of humanware service melting into DSS. At last but not least, a military example about situation assessment indicates the value of Humanware Service in practice.
