Abstract
Five types of important diagrams are presented in the paper. Both the parameters of the electric generators and of the transport grid are considered in these diagrams. There are presented: a) active power versus reactive power diagram (PQ) containing the secondary zones for the ancillary service of voltage control , b) generator reactive power versus grid voltage (Qg Ur ); c) grid voltage versus generator power factor (Ur cosj|g), d) generator voltage versus grid frequency (Ug fr) and e) generator power versus grid frequency (Pg fr ). The theoretical bases and an example of a 235 MW turbo generator and a 216 MVA hydro-generator each connected to a 220 kV grid through a 250 MVA block transformer are given for each diagram. Finally it has a hard application of these diagrams
