Abstract

Transfers of energy during the propagation of an electromagnetic wave in homogeneous and stationary plasma are described by the instantaneous Poynting theorem, using Maxwell equations. A plasma being a complex middle to describe; thus it will be necessary to work on meanly quantities. The energy of the wave carried by the movement of particles is represented by the kinetic flux.
