Abstract


This work relates the study of the swelling of Poly(Acrylates) interpenetrating polymer networks (Poly Hexyl-Ethyl-Acrylate and Poly Butyl-Acrylate) in isotropic solvents. The investigated systems are prepared via photo-polymerization by UV-curing of monomers in the presence of a difonctionnel cross-linker and a photo-initiator. Effects of composition and temperature are evaluated by measuring the size and the mass of dry and swollen samples. Simple modelling is used to rationalize the experimental results obtained.
