Abstract


Nonlinearities of material affect the acoustic wave propagation when the substrate is subjected to an external electric field. The knowledge of the effect of this electric field on the parameters of propagation of these acoustic waves is important in particular in the design of acoustic wave devices. In this work we study the effect of an external continuous electric field on the propagation of an acoustic wave with small amplitude on Langasite (LGS, La3Ga5SiO14) substrate.
