Abstract

Wireless electric power transfer systems are becoming ubiquitous today and radiation experiments in its vicinity has not been comprehensively investigated. The prototype system described in this paper consists of antennae used in the near field range of electromagnetic field. The prototype demonstrates the evanescent resonant coupling method of wireless power transfer between source and receiver antennae. The paper also reports radiation measurements on the low power prototype and verifies its compliance with ICNIRP guidelines.
