Abstract

In this paper, a chattering-free Sliding Mode Controller based on Integrated Control (SMIC) is proposed to stabilize an IM torque. The proposed approach is designed for improving the system stability, behaviour and performance. The SMIC yield more accuracy and reduces the chattering resulting from the high frequency control switching. The controller performance is demonstrated via result of simulation in which the proposed controller effectiveness is compared to conventional SMC.
