Abstract

This work presents a comparative study between two controller techniques in order to improve the speed behavior of a three phase induction motor. These two techniques are the Sliding Mode Control and the Fuzzy Logic Control. In order to highlight the performance of each technique, both controllers have been tested on the same system. All the results quoted in this work are found using MATLAB-Simulink. The system was put in different working condition to compare the performance of the two controllers. The results are presented and discussed.
