Abstract

Planning and management in the Coastal protected area will be implemented along Wonorejo Beach, East Surabaya. The potential of the Wonorejo coastal region lies in the large amount of human resources, namely the people who mostly work as farmers and fishermen. This area has endemic species such as endemic bird ones. This region has abundant natural resources, especially the fisheries sector; it also has the potential for educational tourism with mangrove forests. The beauty of the attractions of mangrove ecosystem diving also exists in this region. The strategy used manages Wonorejo coastal potential management is to offer a collaboration strategy. Collaboration is a form of cooperation, interaction, compromise of several elements relating to people, institutions or parties involved directly and indirectly that receive the consequences and the benefits. Collaborative use involves joint decision-making by governments, communities, non-governmental organizations and the private sector in accessing and using natural resources. There are two values of consistency ratio: 0.028 and 0.058, both of which are less than 0.1. This value has a very good accuracy.
