New Electric Meter Model for Automated Control Systems and Metering

Abstract


This paper describes a new watt-hour meter model which can be used in automated control systems and metering (ACSM), equipped with modern computer technology. Based on the electric supply of industrial enterprises the location of the counters throughout the workshops was discussed. The use of this electrical counter permits precise measure and rapid control of the consumption of electrical energy. The proposed model with its operating algorithm show the instantaneous and average values of total consumed active and reactive powers, and the control of all parameters of electrical energy. This increases the reliability of measuring, helps in optimizing the annual costs, and prevents the larceny
