Abstract

The strobelight photography is a precise and highly repeatable technique for experimental research focused on biological locomotion. Using the advantages of modern digital technologies, the strobelight photography makes possible to measure the motion characteristics of horse leg parts when they perform the walking stages in particular, and that are difficult to record by ordinary techniques.
