Abstract

It has been observed through the great economic growth of construction in the country increasing the number of accidents at work in this sector. The concern with these indicators has been driven over the years. In Brazil, in particular, stands out the approval of NRs (Brazilian regulatory standards) and more recently the approval of Brazilian regulatory standard 35th, designed to work at height. The main objective of this work was to analyze the NR-35 in the context of construction. Through literature review, a summary of the requirements of the standard and open questionnaires were evaluated aspects of the management of health and safety from work activities carried out in time, capturing the perception of professionals about the changes introduced and checking whether the standard is already being applied in construction companies in Curitiba - Paraná. As a result, it was observed that even though not all the respondents know the full NR-35, there is great awareness in the registration and use of Personal Protective Equipment - EPI, and noted the importance of training for training workers who perform services on time. This study seeks to elucidate the requirements of the new standard, which is effective from 27 September 2012
